Bio: Eden Kinkaid (they/them) is a human geographer, trans philosopher, and artist hailing from the United States and recently relocated to Toronto, Canada. Eden’s creative work experiments with themes of trans embodiment, queer space, nature, landscape, and visuality. They work in collage, visual, and multimedia formats and occasionally in sculpture, with a focus on using archival material and ephemera to rework and reenvision existing forms. Eden’s emerging body of creative work has been published in you are here: the journal of creative geography, Colour into Focus: Queer and Trans Collage, and is under development for an artist book with NONMACHINABLE Press. Their work has been exhibited in galleries in Brookyln, NY, Los Angeles, CA, Denver, CO, Tucson, AZ and Toronto, ON.
