Description: This painting is from a series of 12 images exploring backyard skateboard pools shapes. Inspired from the original kidney pool designed by Alvar Aalto for an architectural residence, these pictorial explorations in acrylic, pastel on canvas are made with an intuitive and non-objective process attempting to re-enact the physical experience of skating.
