Description: What was I unconsciously fed in infancy and what did I in turn pass on to my children? It was only in adulthood that I realized how early I must have integrated these concepts as they are a part of me as surely as the food that helped me grow. The shape of these spoons are inspired by antique dutch silver spoons that I saw in a museum. Why do we preserve everyday objects from the past as if they are something to be venerated? they, like traditions passed down should be used, broken, remade, not preserved behind glass, in stasis.
