Description: Breathwork is a kinetic light installation composed of inflated membranes filled with translucent slime. Each orb expands and contracts in a slow, rhythmic pulse - an artificial breath flickering between presence and disappearance. Drawing from the moment of birth when the body first floods with air to the last moments when the lungs are flooded with fluids, the work reflects how life is sustained through a continuous exchange. Breathwork renders this biological rhythm as a tactile landscape, where softness, pressure, and light reveal the precarity of sustaining oneself in an unpredictable world, an ongoing negotiation between holding on and letting go.
