Description: This video was originally made as part of a 60-minute live performance. I was interested in power differentials across technological divides, especially the way that the invisibility of one party seems to “produce” exposure of the other. The video recalls footage of U.S. drone strikes in Afghanistan. One performer bravely stays put and faces some gigantic but amorphous threat, while the others run for cover. Each time they exit the frame, the camera adjusts to keep them in view.
