Bio: Born in 1990 and raised in northern Vermont, Milo Moyer-Battick earned a BFA in printmaking from the University of Southern Maine in 2012. Along side Casey Massman, Moyer-Battick co-operated an underground music and art venue Massman Gallery from 2015-2022. He was the gallery manager at Gallery 16 from 2018 - 2023, and is currently the studio assistant to Miguel Arzabe. He lives and works in Emeryville, CA.
Statement: Moyer-Battick makes paintings of a wide spectrum of images, using watered down transparent layers of acrylic on unprimed canvas. Craft, humor, non-meaning, and conceptual spontaneity are present.
