Carlota Rodriguez
Bio: Carlota Rodriguez (b. 1987) is a Bay Area artist who joined NIAD Art Center in 2016. Her vividly colored paintings and drawings draw on the history of geometric abstraction as well as recent formalism. Rodriguez's work has been featured in a solo exhibition in NIAD's Main Gallery in 2018, as well as in group shows at Chico Art Center, KALA, the OMCA, and Marin MOCA. Recently, several of her paintings were translated into a public mural at the LifeLong Medical Center in San Rafael, California.
