Bio: Elizabeth Estrada is a multidisciplinary artist working between painting, poetry, sculpture, and performance, often intertwining these mediums to explore themes of spirituality and body politics, alongside the internal and external processes of decay and regrowth. She is interested in how socialization shapes our somatic, emotional, and psychological experiences. Recently, her work has focused on assemblage and collage/decollage, incorporating natural and found materials.
Her work has been exhibited at SOMArts, Art Share LA, CCA Playspace Gallery, and has performed poetry at Beyond Baroque, Tamarack, 120710 Gallery, Abrams Claghorn Gallery, among others. Currently residing in the Bay Area, she recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Art Practice and Creative Writing at UC Berkeley and was an artist in residence with Recology SF.
