Bio: Jen Lothrigel is a multidisciplinary artist based in Lafayette, CA whose practice spans photography, painting, and poetry. Her work is deeply informed by the natural world, embodied experience, and ancestral narratives. Through her art, she creates pathways for reflection, connection, and expanded ways of seeing, offering an invitation to engage with the intuitive and often unseen dimensions of human experience.
Statement: My photographic work emerges from the landscape of my psyche. Through my connection with the natural world, I enact and express the currents, memories, and emotions that feel most alive. I experience nature as a living collaborator in my work—a mirror through which the inner world becomes visible. I am drawn to the threshold where body, spirit, and earth meet. My photographs often explore themes of embodiment, transformation, memory, ritual, and the unseen dimensions of my experience.
