Bio: I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. My life started out in Toronto, Canada, and then I moved to Florida. In college I studied Fine Art and I received an Associate of Arts degree at Valencia College in Orlando, FL. Upon completion, I decided to move to California. It was the move to San Francisco and the beginning of a new job in 2018, that started my nightly ritual of painting. Working with acrylic paint on canvas, I paint moments and photographs that inspired me, such as the lighting of the sky at dusk and the contrast of light glowing in windows, to moments in TV shows or movies that were beautifully lit and had a significance to the story that was unfolding. I try to capture the realism as much as I can in my figurative paintings. It is my hope that the onlooker of my art feels something and appreciates the mood it conveys. In March and April of 2022 my paintings were a part of two online exhibits for Las Laguna Art Gallery: “Light and Shade” and “Landscapes and Seascapes”. In San Francisco I have been a part of the Pancakes and Booze Pop-up Art Show in 2024-2026. My paintings were also in two group shows in SF Open Studios and the “SUPER HYPER LOCAL” show at The Drawing Room Annex in 2025. I continue to paint in San Fransisco, and I am pursuing future exhibits and opportunities.
