Ethan Wright

Bio: Ethan Wright is a bay area artist based in San Francisco. Born and raised in California's Central Valley Ethan graduated from California State University Sacramento in 2024 with his BFA in studio art and is currently an MFA candidate at San Francisco State University. Ethan has shown locally and nationally at galleries and institutions such as Glassell Gallery, Casemore Gallery, Randall Museum, Horton Gallery, John Natsoulas Gallery. In Ethan's newest body of work he is exploring/researching histories of global colonialism and their traces to today. He is responding to his findings by creating ceramic sculpture in conjunction with found object arrangements to create installation works. These installations operate in various ways as commentary, sanctuary, and critique.
