Description: Visitors enter the exhibition through a roughly broken opening in the wall, as though the gallery has been physically ruptured by the arrival of objects from another time. The opening transforms the space into an archaeological excavation connected to the fictional Berkeley Time Rift. Instead of entering a conventional gallery, the visitor passes through a break separating the present from the reconstructed history of 4087.
